1st Grade Dinosaur Island Habitat
First grade students created a fictitious island habitat for their clay dinosaurs using different paper sculpture techniques. Students discovered that they can convey depth/space through overlapping and placing objects in the foreground, middle ground and background. They discussed what makes a habitat and what they could include in their habitats. We learned how to create different forms with paper techniques.
