2nd graders painting to music

2nd grade students use line, shapes and color to express meaning and feelings as they listened to music. They used oil pastels and to add lines and shapes and watercolors while listening to Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" . They analyzed the artwork of Vasily Kandinsky who also painted to music and were inspired by his abstract compositions.
