5th Grade Graffiti Letter and Zentangle Sketchbook Cover Designs

Fifth grade students were inspired after looking at legal graffiti as an art form in order to create a sketch book cover design. They learned how to create graffiti lettering and then created a Zentangle line pattern in the background. Students made their name the center of interest by painting it with neon colors. Students will be using their sketchbooks as a source of inspiration and visual journal in order to focus on the artistic process and self expression. Stay tuned for more finished works!
